The Trinity Capital Hotel is on Pearse Street, Dublin 2. Our buildings cover from number 20 to 26 Pearse Street. If you are looking for co-ordinates for your GPS we are located on 53.3453 -6.2542
The Trinity Capital Hotel does not have a hotel car park. We have rates agreed with two local car parks.
The closest car park is Tara Street, two minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has permits for this car park available at reception, the cost is 15 Euro for 24 hours from 2pm to 2pm, this is payable to the hotel. Any additional hours are charged on meters directly at the car park. The car park is closed from midnight to 7am, if you need access between these hours please inform reception.
The Fleet Street Car Park is located in Temple Bar, 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Guests in the Trinity Capital Hotel get a rate in this car park of 24 Euro per 24 hours. Bring the car park ticket to the hotel to be stamped, and parking must be paid with the cash desk attendant, not at the machines.
Note that the Trinity Capital Hotel has a loading bay in front of the hotel. This can only be used for unloading/loading luggage, but you may stop here while getting the permit for Tara Street.

There are two main options for travel from the Airport to Dublin City - Taxi and Aircoach. Both are easy to find outside the arrivals hall at the airport. A taxi to Trinity Capital Hotel should take between 20-35 minutes depending on traffic and cost around 30-40 Euros one way.
On arrival to Dublin the Aircoach stops in front of Trinity College, a short walk from the Trinity Capital Hotel. See the map above for details on location of the Aircoach stops. Single journey ticket is 7 Euro, and return ticket is 12 Euro. You can buy your ticket at the Airport stop.
All rooms in the Trinity Capital Hotel have en-suite bathrooms, most with bathtub and shower. All rooms have Safe, TV, Telephone, Hairdryer, Tea and Coffee making facilities and Iron & Ironing board.
Electricity in Ireland is 220v, plugs are 3 pronged. We have a limited number of adapters at the reception for European plugs, a 10 Euro refundable deposit is required for adapters. Some electrical equipment from the US need a voltage converter in addition to an adapter.
We have some rooms that are adapted to suit people in wheelchairs, please contact the hotel to request one of these rooms. They have wider doors, roll-in showers and lower hand basins in the bathrooms. All our public areas are wheelchair accessible.
Hotel Facilities
Cafe Cairo is the Bar and Restaurant in the Trinity Capital Hotel open to residents and non residents of the hotel. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner is served until 9pm. The bar is open until 11.30pm on weekdays and 12.30am on weekends to non residents and until 2am for hotel guests.
Smoking policy - All public areas are non smoking, to comply with Irish law. We do have a limited number of smoking rooms, please request this at the time of booking.
The Trinity Capital Hotel has a small fitness room, with a Treadmill, Step Machine and Exercise Bikes. The closest full service public facility is a 3 minute walk away on Townsend Street, The Markiewicz Centre.
Check in time is from 2pm. If you arrive earlier than this we can hold your luggage until the room is ready. To guarantee an early check in you would need to book your room from the night before. Check out is 12 noon. If you are travelling later we can again hold your luggage at reception until you are ready to travel from the hotel. Should you wish to keep your room later you may do so until 6pm for a late check out fee of 50 Euro. (Subject to availability, if the hotel is fully booked this may not be available.)
The cancellation policy on your booking will be determined by the website/agent that you booked with. If you wish to change or cancel your booking please contact the website/agent that you booked with.
Most bookings made on our own website is subject to a non refundable 15% deposit. You may cancel your booking up to 4pm the day before arrival without any further charge. Late cancellation or no-show will be charged for the first nights stay.
Some special offers and discounted rates are subject to a full prepayment on booking, and there can be no changes or cancellations to these bookings. This applies to Last Minute, Advance Purchase, 3 for 2 offers and other special rates. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your booking to check what applies to your reservation.
The Trinity Capital Hotel closes for Christmas on the 24th, 25th and 26th December.
Most shops are open on Bank Holidays and Sundays. Some museums close on Bank Holidays and Mondays, check out our page on museums and other activities for more details and links.
There are strict restrictions on the sale and serving of alcohol on Good Friday. The Trinity Capital Hotel bar and restaurant will be closed to non-residents on Good Friday. Many restaurants, bars and clubs will also be closed.
